Maple Shadow Frame 

This is an original oil painting.

If you have seen my work, you know this scene. She comes up a lot. It is part of the white dress in sun and shadows and the little dog, the clouds and the vast field. I love to do these and I always wonder where the initial thought of this got in my head.

As a painter, for me, I spent many many years learning how to paint and letting myself paint what works for me has been a big part of that process. I am at a point where I can project these people where I want them to be and who knows why but I am sure there is a reason in there somewhere.
