Somehow in the middle of all this I stopped and did this random little girl. who I have done so many times. She is a symphony of color and just lets me play with ithe color. Her black hair pin, her black shoes and the black cat were the entire catalyst for this painting. Contrast. I love contrast and her white dress against the pale background was just what I needed in the middle of sea and mountains!
