Maple Shadow Frame

This painting I painted then realized I have painted this same scene many times before. It is odd to think that would not be immediately realized by an artist, but I think for me, The Laundry Lady series is one I paint with no thought at all to what she will be doing. She starts with the figure drawn loosely in paint and then I just let it happen. I am in love with painting white and this extreme pink is coming into a lot of work this year, so it is just the 2019 version of a scene she does non stop it seems.
