Maple Shadow Frame

There are a couple of these plaid coat paintings that I recently did and I am not sure what prompted them except for some drawings I did a week or so ago. This coat is much more of a pink and yellow plaid in person. For some reason it is not photographing as well. She is in the fog and there are lights in the yard. I love a good umbrella and she was going to be in rain but then it stopped and it is just fog. That is honestly how painting works in my brain. I will just be going along and it is a narrative and things shift and change just like reading a book does. It is one of the reasons painting is such an escape.

This painting is brand new and drying. It will be ready to ship by mid March. Shipping cost is included!
