Maple Shadow Frame

She is the laundry lady on the beach. I just let the paintings roll and don’t over think them. She has been coming up in my work for about 16 years and in this case she is looking left as usual although I can’t say why she is. But I spent some time obsessed with the sand color of the beach paintings in this years show. We went to a beach recently with this buffy sand color and it makes the white of her dress pop even more than usual.
