This piece was one I did of the feeling of looking off the studio hill at Nimrod Hall with my small dog in the painting, too. He makes a nice bit of negative space and anchors her thoughts. This subject comes up time and again for me as an artist. When she is thinking, I am thinking because painting her is so easy and natural.
