I did a whole series of flower paintings this year. I love a good powerful flower. This They also provide, to me, an almost abstract feel but with a recognizable subject- so almost the exact opposite of what that means. At any rate- the feeling of this painting is just energy-like it is just spreading its wings. I love the feeling of it. Spiky flowers and round flowers unite!
