Shadow Frame

This view is from the porch of my studio at Nimrod Hall looking up at the new walking paths. The sunlight that filtered onto the grass and paths was literally stunning in person. Virginia is amazing in the early summer because of the amount of green. It is so green. It is a saturated and dense green and I feel like with this painting and the larger one I did of the same scene, it captured that feeling.
