Maple Shadow Frame

This is a painting of a little outbuilding at our house in Bon Air. Every Spring I go a little crazy with the reality that I can actually leave the studio and paint outdoors. The little outbuildings pop up a lot in those works since they are all cute little houses that were used when this house was a Farmette. I did not make up that word, it truly was called that in the tax forms. I think it must mean a very small farm? A farm with no crops but just lots of little buildings?  At any rate, they are fun to paint.
