This painting was painted early summer when I was just having an eyeball feast with the burst of color after a long winter. Umbrellas, yellow straw hats and bright greens are really what makes my world go around. She is just made up of course, and when I di these types of figures I am not going for exact but going for a gesture. She looks like I through of her as posing for a picture before the pool plunge.
