Maple Shadow Frame

Part of myself series of places I would like to be and paint colors I like to use. And let's face it, people I would like to be!!! Or at least a situation I would like to find myself in.

The Promenade is just a group of women walking by the sea of the perfect day. I did not go to the South of France this summer so I painted it! Idealizing the clothes and the weather. I obviously invented the women and their clothing and to be honest, it is about as ideal as I can get it. It has an exhibition frame on it but I can see a big ornate frame on it! Not that anyone asked me.
