This piece is so bold that it blows me away I was able to leave it alone in a place I felt like it worked. I was working on a whole group of large abstracts and this was one of the first one I truly just let the colors do the work and did not bring in line or other shapes to dilute the overall vastness of the work as a whole. It just feels like it wants to blow out of the canvas! I feel, when I am looking at this piece hanging this way that it is like a pot boiling up toward me. But like all my abstracts, they can be hang any direction as that is how they are painted.
