Still life from a series of things I really like that I have sitting around my house and studio. The head vase is not one from my Gramp's house but reminds me of them. I picked it up along with the globe piggy bank (I  am not sure I can say globe piggy bank but it is a penny bank or whatever) . I have a fascination with retro knick knacks and painting them helps me justify having them all over my house.
