Part of my winter routine is painting idealist scenes of snow, festivity and all the good things about winter. Because I tend to slide into a feel sorry for myself mode otherwise. This is based on my son who is a snowboarder but not him specifically. The snow is my favorite when it is coating the trees like this and at the last minute I added the lights because, why not? It just makes it more warm and fuzzy and I just want to be here.
