Looking at the old Camp Nimrod boys camp cabins, I always take the color to a much higher place than it is. I always look at those cabins as a chance to break out colors not easily used in landscape work and take the slight shade of turquoise of the aged wood and make it appear much more vivid and alive. These cabins are in shade almost all day and apparently that was done on purpose to keep the cabins less hot (which makes sense) when they were built in 1936. They are built on a hill so the sun streaks you see are breaking through the tree cover when the sun is almost directly overhead. It looks almost surreal when the sun streaks hit.
