This Fall there was an event in Richmond for a Plein Air paint out hosted by a neighborhood in Richmond. Basically that means that for 5 days everywhere you looked their were artists painting outdoors (what Plein Air means). I had an absolute blast. This painting is of a little corner of a street called Granite Avenue that has lots of charming signage and hosts a nursery behind a fence still hosting lots of bright red blooming geraniums.
