So this is one is pretty obvious! I was at Nimrod on the porch of my studio and looked over and see this amazing bright red cardinal in the sea of green that is Virginia in the summer. That bird was around a lot, so he must have a nest nearby. I have a bigger one of of him painted earlier in the summer.
