True Maple Shadow Frame

This piece painted itself. This scene is so riveting at night at Nimrod Hall, the art colony we own in Bath County, Va. The yard at NImrod can be ink black and so we have put some solar lights out to help guide us. They cast the craziest spiky light on the grass that I loved. The post office is a place frequently used to work in at night and can glow when you look up the yard. I hung multi colored festive lights up a year or so ago and they are fading but still bright enough to give you the feeling of something fun is going on. I have done so many night scenes and love them all.
