I brought an onion to the studio to paint. Onions are amazing to paint for the different values of whites and at the time the tangerines were in season so it made its way into the painting as well. It is not a typical pairing but I love the way it turned out. I think I threw that onion away about a month ago after it sat in my studio since last winter and that is pretty disturbing. It wasn't even all that gross which is weird. Im pretty sure I ate the tangerine that day.
