Black Shadow Frame with gold front accent

This piece is one from our trip to Utah. To get anywhere in that great place, you wait for a shuttle bus that is normally lit from a streetlight. The tiny lights of houses in the distance and the snow and colors inspired this particular piece. The windblown scarf is in a lot of my work lately and provides a flash of motion that I love to see. I love snow and I really love a snowstorm at night. This painting is hard to photograph but is not as dark as it looks.
