Maple Shadow Frame

One of the great motel chairs we have at Nimrod Hall sitting on the back porch overlooking the garden. This particular porch is a very popular space for artists to set up and work and I have done many paintings off this porch, myself. This piece is very simplified and the shadow colors are in a higher key than most of work. It is almost an abstract painting except for the slight recognizable chair shape. I love that kind of painting where the straight description is blurred.
