Maple Shadow Frame

This painting was started in 2018 and I swear I was adding to it as early as a month ago. The view from the sky is fascinating and I kept gong over and adding pinks, and reds and things to make the green and more green of this piece have shimmering edges. I don’t always do that, but this time I just kept on playing with it over and over, I am finally very pleased with it and the way it showcases the crops and patterns of summertime in Bath County. Va. My husband flies and I will often be drawn to the aerial photos I take and I do these a lot but not normally this large. It is a massive statement but because of the colors, not one that is jarring but very much a look out the airplane window scene but with not much realism but a lot of exaggeration.

It is priced lower because it is not a brand new piece, technically. To ship this piece will require a crate so 8% of the cost is usually what it is to ship these.
