A tree swing is an amazing thing. This tree in our backyard is truly enormous. It is so big and lush that you can sit in this swing on a lightly raining day and barely get wet. What inspired me for this piece was the green of the grass that was almost luminous it was so extreme. Then I went ahead and exaggerated the green. it is a simple painting but the subject and feel makes it calm.
