This is an Original Oil Painting

This figure pops into my work over and over and I love her. She is an invention of mine, this figure, and she lets me use my contrast, and my colors, and throw in my little dog. I envisioned this painting as a studio sitting almost, more like a play on an actual photo. I am also currently working with almost white backgrounds. I am not sure why except contrast has always been a love of mine (obviously). What I love about this piece is the simplicity and the richness of the red, yellow and teals with the white back ground.
