This is an Original Oil Painting

Last summer I painted a lot of river scenes and this was one of the last. I finally finished it and it just feels like it summed up my summer. My interest was totally focused on the contrast of color in the trees caused by the bright sunny days and then the reflections on the water because of the stillness of the current. The colors are pure summertime and the water feel makes this one of my favorite paintings.
