This is an Original Oil Painting

This is one of my very favorite paintings of mine right now. She is highly abstracted and the whole painted is less an attempt to be exact and much more my focus was on just summer, beach, colors, and that moment in time I am always shooting for in my work. Not really meaning to do so, a lot of my paintings are like photos where the subject is looking right at me, the painter and not going to lie, I just realized that recently. I am the generation of the pentax manual camera, the point and shoot, the cannon with the battery you had to charge. I will never look at my iPhone camera as anything but a straight up miracle.

But I digress. I think she is a posing for me and if you start to look at other work of mine it has been like that for a long time. That is what is crazy about being a painter. Even I didn't realize that. But they just pose for me. And I love it.
