I went through a huge collecting vintage things of all kinds a while ago. It was then that I found this amazing chopper that is probably from the 40's or 50's You can't tell because of the awesome pink colors but the handle and knob are wooden. It disturbs me how now if you find something like this, that was probably sold a Sears, and certainly produced in bulk- it looks stunning and hand made. I guess because now everything is mass produced and plastic and they never use cool painted wood and defer to the form over function rule most artists sway toward. That is the draw for me I think. It isn't one of a kind but could be.
