Maple Shadow Frame

This piece is very special to me since it is the room I stayed in for so many years before we bought Nimrod. It symbolizes a time when I was a little more carefree at Nimrod. As a painting on its own, I feel like it is one of my best pieces. I let myself abstract the floors and many of the planes of what was a very complicated subject and made it almost color block, simplified to an extreme. It captures a time for me.
